BumRangs version of the "Standard FC" has a very stable flight path that makes it very predictable and easily adjustable. It is designed to be fast but not too fast in calm to light wind. It is especially useful in the first round to get a solid time on the board. Likewise it is a good choice for the second round if you choked in the first.

The Stability of this boomerang allows for a wide range of adjustments for trickier winds. I prefer 1, 2, or 3 wraps of cloth tape for added stability and speed control, but rubberbands, velcor, and lead tape are also very useful in shifty winds. Whatever your preference, the Standard FC is a great all around Fast Catch that will give you a lot of flexibility in light winds to maximize your time.
