The Hummingbird is a 50 meter distance boomerang used in competition for the Australian Round event. In calm winds, throw low and laid out for a long elliptical flight. In windier conditions, throw more vertically for a more circular flight that will stay under the wind. The Hummingbird is smaller than the Heron and better suited for windier conditions though it is also very good in the calm. Made of 3.2mm G10 fiberglass. The small size is very easy to catch.
